Situated at Launceston Seaport, Salon Kephi exists to deliver a boutique, joyful and personalised hair and beauty experience.
Salon Kephi was originally created from Hayley’s passion for bringing exceptional, one-on-one hair service to Launceston. With more than 15 years in the hairdressing industry and experience working alongside talented hairstylists in New Zealand and the UK, Hayley created a beautiful salon built around exceptional service, quality products, sustainability and, most importantly, making every client feel genuinely cared for.
In September 2026, Salon Kephi began an exciting new chapter with Deb Frost taking ownership of the salon.
With more than 30 years in the beauty industry and as the founder of Mooie Makeup and the Facci System, Deb shares many of the same values that Salon Kephi was built upon — genuine customer service, sustainability, education, beautiful products and creating an experience that is personal to every client.

As Salon Kephi moves into this next chapter, Deb is excited to bring her own experience in beauty and makeup into the salon, including the Facci System by Mooie Makeup, personalised colour matching, makeup services and beautiful hair and makeup experiences — while keeping exceptional hairdressing at the heart of Kephi.

A New Chapter for Salon Kephi
Taking over Salon Kephi feels like a natural extension of everything Deb loves about the beauty industry.
Her vision for Kephi is not to change what already makes the salon so special, but to build upon it. She is incredibly proud of the talented team and wants Salon Kephi to remain a place where clients feel welcomed, valued and genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
Over time, Deb is excited to introduce more experiences alongside Kephi’s beautiful hair services, including Facci colour matching, personalised makeup palettes, makeup appointments, special-event hair and makeup, mini makeovers and education.
Most importantly, Deb wants Salon Kephi to be a place where hair, makeup and genuine old-fashioned customer service come together.
When she’s not at Kephi or working on Mooie Makeup, you’ll usually find Deb at home in the country, enjoying farm life and spending time with her family.
For Deb, this next chapter is about bringing together everything she loves — beautiful hair, personalised makeup, education, an incredible team and making every client who walks through the doors of Salon Kephi feel special.
